Surrounded by an intense storm as the setting sun put on a burning glow, I stood speechless and in awe at the intense power, the beauty, and marvel of what surrounded me. With the wind in my face, the smell of fresh rain falling, and witnessing the charged skies unleash all around me was exhilarating and completely intoxicating. I was alive, without fear, the storm was my awakening.

Growing up in the beautifully diverse state of Utah, Ryan Smith developed early on a love and passion for the outdoors. Consistently traveling through the Western US and beyond, Ryan has now extended the borders of what he calls home to say simply that he lives in the Mountains.
